CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON
TEIGNMOUTH TRADERS CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON Friday 18th November With Captain Jacko Sparrow The afternoon starts 4pm at TAAG in Northumberland Place where school children and their families and teachers from Inverteign and Hazeldown Schools, and with the Pantomime cast, performing at the Carlton Theatre, participants of all ages carrying over 75 home made illuminated lanterns in a parade around the town. The rout will include Teign Street, Bank St, then into the Triangle. Where Captain Jacko Sparrow will be entertaining the public and turning on the lights at 4-30pm in the Triangle. We will also be giving away mulled wine and mince pies to get you all into the Christmas spirit. The start of the Teignmouth Jazz festival will start at 5pm with a performance from Trinity youth Jazz Band. There will also be over 60 Christmas trees lit around the town. Many of the shops have entered into our Annual Christmas shop window Display Competition. Bringing Christmas to Teignmouth. Many Shops will be open late that evening for all your late night shopping. Also Captain Jacko Sparrow will be performing around the town on Saturday 3rd 10th and 17th December.
